The Social Committees of the Ethiopian League is a sub-component of the community that is administered under the Commonwealth of Independent States of British Columbia.
As Ethiopians living in the Canadian Vancouver area of Vancouver, Vancouver, Canada, as a culture and a way of coping with our problems as a model for our personal and public life to share our joy, It is a human and historical duty to resolve conflicts through self-reliance, sympathy, support and intolerance. The mission of the committee is to seek solutions to the problems that exist in the community by providing a systematic, coordinated, safe and efficient response to the social problems created in our society and predicting the possible future outcomes.

የማህበራዊ ኮሚቴ በኢትዮጵያኖች ማህበር በብሪቲሽ ኮሎምቢያ ስር የሚተዳደር ለማህበረሰቡ የነጻ አገልግሎት የሚያበረክት ንኡስ ክፍል ነው።
እኛ ኢትዮጵያውያን በካናዳ ብሪቲሽ ኮሎምቢያ በታላቋ ቫንኩቨር ከተማ ውስጥ ስንኖር ከታሪካችን የወረስነውን አብሮ የመኖር ባሕል የበለጠ አጠናክረን ደስታችንን በጋራ ለመካፈል፣ በግል ወይም በወል የሚያጋጥሙንን ችግሮች ” ድር ቢያብር አንበሳ ያስር ” የሚለውን ያባቶቻችንን አነጋገርን እንደ ምሳሌ በመውሰድ ችግሮቻችንን በጋራ መቋቋም ባሕላችንና መሰረታችን እንደመሆኑ መጠን፤ በአንድ አገር ተወላጅነት ስሜት በመተሳሰብ ፣ በመቻቻል፣ በመተጋገዝ ብሎም በመፈቃቀር ፣ ተቀራርቦ የሚከሰቱትን ችግሮች ለመፍታት መረባረብ ሰብአዊና ታሪካዊ ግዴታችን ነው።
የኮሚቴው ዓላማ በህብረተሰባችን ውስጥ የተፈጠሩትን ማኅበራዊ ችግሮችን ጠንቅቆ በመረዳት እና ወደፊት ሊፈጠሩ ይችላሉ ተብለው የሚገመቱትን ችግሮች አስቀድሞ በመተንበይ ለችግሮቹ ተገቢውን ምላሽ ለመስጠት በሕብረት፣ በተቀናጀ፣ አስተማማኝና ቀልጣፋ ሁኔታዎችን በማመቻቸት፣ በማህረሰቡ መካከል ለሚፈጠሩ ችግሮች መፍትሔ ማፈላለግ ነው።
